Gerardo Martínez: "Solidarity, organization and the mystique of militancy are fundamental tools for the strengthening of a UOCRA standing next to their workers and committed to the culture of work "

The General Secretary of the Argentine Building Workers Union (UOCRA), Gerardo Martínez, led a mega Assembly at Obrador Norte H-Line Subways of the City of Buenos Aires, which was attended by almost 5,000 building workers.� 

The Assembly took place within democratic and participatory framework. Our General Secretary spoke about different issues related to the current level of activity of our industry, its prospects for development and creation of new jobs, the goals achieved by our Union in recent times for the benefit of building workers and their families. He also stressed the importance of strengthening the Trade Union presence and action in each work so as to legitimate even more its representation of building workers.

These are only some of the achievements that allow us to display a live trade union action which offers answers to the needs and demands of our workers permanently. "."

 It also reported on the scope of the agreement signed with the Secretariat of Planning for the Prevention of Drug Addiction and Action against Drug Trafficking SEDRONAR in order to contribute to the detection and treatment of this scourge, which may, in some cases, affect our workers and said: "this is also an important issue which we must deal with and that it has to do with the concept of Social Responsibility Association."
